• User content: outfit photos, posts, comments, likes, follows, and other content you submit.
• Messages: content you send through in-app messaging.
• Support communications: information you include when you contact support.

Information collected automatically

• Device & usage information: device type, operating system version, app version, and basic usage/diagnostic data (e.g., crash logs) to improve reliability and security.
• Push notification tokens: a device token used to deliver notifications to your phone.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and operate core App features (accounts, posting, messaging, social feeds, and notifications).
• Store your profile and outfit photos so you can view and manage them in the App.
• Improve, secure, and maintain the App (debugging, preventing abuse, performance monitoring).
• Communicate with you about the App, including support requests and important updates.

3. AI & Image Processing

Fit Stylist uses AI to extract garment information from images you upload (for example, identifying clothing attributes to power organization and outfit-related features).

• Scope: AI processing is used for garment-related analysis only.
• Service providers: We use OpenAI as a third-party processor for certain AI features.
• Training: We do not use your photos or messages to train public AI models.
• Storage: Outfit photos you upload are stored permanently unless you delete them (or delete your account, where applicable).

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

• With other users: content you choose to post (including your username, profile photo, and posts) may be visible to other users depending on your settings and how you use the App.
• Service providers: we use trusted vendors to host data, deliver notifications, and provide AI processing (e.g., OpenAI). These providers process information on our behalf under contractual obligations.
• Legal and safety: if required to comply with law, enforce our policies, or protect users’ safety and rights.
• Business changes: if we’re involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

5. Your Choices & Controls

• Edit your profile: you can update your profile details in the App.
• Delete content: where supported, you can delete posts/photos you’ve uploaded.
• Push notifications: you can disable notifications in your device settings.
• Account deletion: if you want to delete your account and/or request deletion of data, contact [email protected].

6. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the App and for legitimate business purposes (such as maintaining accounts, operating social features, preventing fraud/abuse, and complying with legal obligations). Outfit photos are stored permanently unless you delete them or request account deletion (where applicable).

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. However, no system can be 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13. If we learn that we collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete it.

9. International Users

If you access the App from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be processed and stored in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you represent that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

2. Your Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity on your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account information up to date.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines.

3. User Content

The App allows you to upload, post, message, and otherwise submit content (“User Content”), including photos, comments, and messages.

Your rights

You retain ownership of your User Content.

License to us

To operate the App, you grant Fit Stylist a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, modify (for formatting/display), publicly display, and distribute your User Content as necessary to provide the App (for example, showing your posts to other users when you post them).

Responsibility

You are responsible for your User Content and represent that you have all rights needed to submit it and that it does not violate law or these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Post illegal content or content that violates others’ rights.
• Harass, threaten, bully, or abuse others.
• Post hate speech or discriminatory content.
• Post sexual content involving minors or exploitative content (zero tolerance).
• Post explicit sexual content.
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Spam, solicit, or engage in deceptive practices.
• Attempt to access or probe systems unlawfully, interfere with the App, other users, or bypass security measures.

5. AI Features

Fit Stylist may use third-party AI services (including OpenAI) to extract garment information from images you upload. AI output may be imperfect and is provided for informational and product-feature purposes only. You are responsible for how you use the App and its outputs.

6. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the data practices described there.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or if needed to protect the App, other users, or comply with law.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fit Stylist disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fit Stylist will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of the App.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fit Stylist from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or in any way connected with your User Content, your use of the App, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Changes to the App or Terms

We may modify the App or these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of Wisconsin, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree that any dispute arising from these Terms or the App will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Wisconsin, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
